On the day of Ann Marie and Nick's engagement session in late December, the weather forecast wasn't looking so great. It was an unseasonably warm day for winter, but the forecast was calling for rain through the afternoon. I reached out a little over an hour before we were scheduled to start shooting to see if they wanted to reschedule. Leaving the park that evening, I was so glad they didn't hesitate when they said they were up for keeping the session time! Some photographers love the bright sun, but my favorite shooting weather is exactly what you see here... overcast, calm, with a little fog. As long as there's no water falling from the sky, I'm in heaven!
And these two were game. Not a single complaint. Nothing but super sweet personality and smiles the whole time as we walked the park and talked about their upcoming wedding at The Stone House at Stirling Ridge. I think you can tell from the photos below that we had a great time.
I'm so excited to celebrate their marriage in my favorite month of September!
