Nautical Wedding at The Waters Edge | Meghan & Kyle

What do you get when you combine a sunny day, tons of dancing and the most beautiful wedding shoes I've ever seen?  Meghan and Kyle's wedding day at the Waters Edge!  They were married this past September in true nautical fashion, with navy blue decor, the coolest lighthouse card box, and stunning Badgley Mischka sparkly blue bridesmaids dresses that matched Meghan's shoes that I would have walked away with if they were only my size.  Meghan also had a surprise up her sleeve for Kyle... at their ceremony she placed his grandfather's wedding band on his finger in place of the one they had originally bought together.  Such a sweet gesture!

We had so much fun celebrating with these two that night, as DJ Encore kept the crowd dancing all night long, including a couple encores by popular demand.  And you couldn't pull Meghan off of the dance floor if you tried... she's my kind of bride!  (She also shares a shameless love for Fetty Wap like I do.)  I'm so excited to see their wedding day come to life in print as I build their wedding album right now!

Vintage Fall Wedding at the Madison | Sara & Tony

I originally met Sara and Tony by chance at a mutual friend's birthday party.  It came up in conversation that I was a photographer, and we discussed scheduling a family beach session with them and their son Anthony.  But, family session plans turned into other plans, as we set a date for their engagement session at the Barnegat Lighthouse that incorporated one of Tony's other loves... fishing.  They didn't yet have their wedding details finalized, but we knew we'd work together again once they did!

Sara and Tony's wedding ceremony and reception would take place at Cafe Madison in Riverside, NJ, a deceiving venue from the outside.  It was one of the coolest venues I've shot at to date, with a beautiful ballroom and cocktail area with an indoor/outdoor feel with its picnic tables, open ceiling and hanging lights.  Their decor was fall vintage, with lace and pearl accents and beautiful glittered pumpkins included in the centerpieces.  Sara's florals by Leigh Florist included complimenting flowers in bright pinks and oranges... one of my favorite bouquet designs yet.

Their son Anthony was incorporated into their big day, with both a role in the ceremony and a special dance with mom during the reception.  He was definitely a star of the show with his natural cuteness and monster faces.  Watching him light up when he saw his mom in her wedding dress was such a cute moment!  Before the reception started, Sara brought Tony and Anthony into the ballroom to check out the surprise cake she planned with Dibartolo Bakery... an amazing 3-tiered cake featuring a split design... half vintage, half fish!  We had so much fun celebrating on the dance floor all night long with this group... We didn't want it to end!

Pink and Grey Wedding at the Versailles Ballroom | Danielle & Vinnie

Danielle arrived at our consultation with her mom and maid of honor by her side to see if I was the right fit for her and Vinnie. I knew from the very start that wedding photography was a big priority for her. It means so much when someone who values photography asks you to document one of the most important days of their life for them.

Danielle and Vinnie complement each other perfectly. They're both super sweet, have a great sense of humor, and they can keep things moving on the dance floor all night long!  Their wedding day went just as we planned, starting with a very emotional first look that got everyone crying, followed by some time at Double Trouble State Park for their portraits.  Father Anthony Lipari entertained the guests before, during and after (he's also quite the dancer - see below for proof) their wedding ceremony, followed by cocktail hour and a reception in the Versailles Ballroom.  The ballroom was beautifully decorated with pink uplighting and white and pink flowers throughout by Skip's Florist.  Danielle and Vinnie's cake was definitely one of my favorites yet, with their unique and adorable cake toppers (yes, that's what you think it is). :)

We had such a great time celebrating with the new Mr. and Mrs. Ramos on their wedding day, and wish them nothing but the best!

LBI Yacht Club Wedding at Little Egg Harbor Yacht Club | Krystee & TJ

You may remember this couple from their nautical seaport engagement session last year... one of my favorites ever.  I'm still dying over Krystee's custom rose gold engagement ring with knots and anchors on it!

Krystee is a creative, so I knew that the details for her wedding day would be on point.  Between the adorably named beer favors (shout out to Wiggle!) and the gorgeous invitations, signage and table numbers she designed herself, everything came together beautifully with their nautical yacht club wedding theme.  Krystee and TJ's day began with the exchanging of the most thoughtful gifts, martinis and an amazing job on hair and makeup by Lauren Kipple and Frankie Gippetti.  The bridesmaids looked stunning in navy Bill Levkoff dresses, contrasted by beautiful white florals by Reynolds Garden Shop.  They definitely got creative with the men's boutonnieres, using shotgun shells to hold white roses.  I loved that detail to showcase TJ's love for duck hunting!

We worried about the weather forecast in the days leading up to Krystee and TJ's wedding, but they lucked out with a perfect overcast sky, a side of wind, and the fluffiest clouds over Long Beach Island.  Their tented wedding reception at Little Egg Harbor Yacht Club was well-executed and full of so much fun, dancing and singing by the bridal party and their friends!  Can we get together and do this every year guys? :)

September Scotland Run Golf Club Wedding | Lauren & Justin

I first met Lauren and Justin almost exactly one year before their wedding date, after Lauren and I had ironically tested fate by going skydiving at the same place the weekend before, just one day apart.  They are both very easygoing people who also (I later found out) like to dance all night, exactly my kind of bride and groom!  I was very happy when they told me they wanted me to be their photographer this September.

It was my first time at the beautiful Scotland Run Golf Club, and I definitely hope it's not my last.  The grounds are gorgeous, and their outdoor gazebo makes for the perfect wedding ceremony location, rain or shine.  Luckily, we had perfect sunny summer weather for these two as we explored the premises for their portraits before the ceremony, starting with Lauren and Justin's first look under the gorgeous archway full of vines and flowers.  After a few hysterical toasts led by their closest family and friends, the couple and their guests were on the dance floor all night.  They kept the party going until the very end of the night, doing a quick cupcake feeding off to the side so as to not interrupt the fun.  Enjoy a little taste of their beautiful wedding day below!
